Trisha and Sebastian
Trisha & Sebastian attempt to keep the spirit of DADA alive through a combination of absurdist multi-media creations and performance art. Recent projects have included installation of an anti-Brexit grove of renegade Xmas trees in a shopping mall, repatriation of plastic beach refuse suspended from abandoned beach umbrellas, free improvisation with leaves to celebrate autumn, and a DJ battle involving wind-up gramophones and found objects. The pinnacle of their career to date was being invited to play at the legendary venue Iklektik in London, just prior to its closure in late 2023, where they performed Alvin Lucier’s legendary piece ‘Nothing is real’ on a grand piano, radio and teapot. This was part of the launch event for the Radio Art Zone book, to which they both had contributed.
